Job summary

University of Nevada, Las Vegas seeks a Financial Aid Verification Analyst to ensure federal compliance and assist students through the verification process. You will communicate with students, collect required documents, review FAFSA data for accuracy, and convey any verification impacts to students and the financial aid staff.

The role supports UNLV's mission to expand access and promote student success, with potential evening/weekend work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and 1–3 years related professional experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for 1 year of work experience.
• Ability to communicate with students and collect/review FAFSA information.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with students about the verification process.
• Collecting required documents as needed.
• Reviewing submitted documents to ensure FAFSA information is accurate and making corrections as needed.
• Relaying impacts of verification on student financial aid packages to students and staff.
