Job summary

University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a Financial Aid Processing Analyst to manage packaging, awarding, and clean-up of federal and state grants and federal loans on student accounts. The role reports to the Senior Assistant Director of Financial Aid Processing and collaborates to finalize awards in PeopleSoft and SFA.

The position requires troubleshooting, case management in Salesforce, and outreach to prospective and current students and parents to review eligibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1–3 years related professional experience.
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Process awards and changes to awards from receipt to completion in PeopleSoft and SFA.
• Resolve issues with financial aid processes escalated by constituents and through case management in SF or queries and reports from PeopleSoft or SFA.
• Attend outreach activities to meet with prospective and current students and parents, explain financial aid processes and review student accounts for eligibility and award status.
