Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada is hiring a Financial Aid Analyst at the West Charleston campus to provide technical support to the Financial Aid Department. Under the Assistant Director, the Analyst will test bundles, assist with aid year rollovers, and design queries using PeopleSoft and SQL concepts.

Responsibilities include creating data extracts and reports in Excel/Access for institutional, state, and federal reporting, supporting data analysis, and ensuring quality assurance for system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a regionally accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of professional experience.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel (formulas, queries, reports, and/or macros) and Access.

Responsibilities

• Test PeopleSoft Update Manager bundles.
• Assist in aid year roll overs.
• Design PeopleSoft queries.
• Utilize Microsoft Access and Excel to collect, analyze, and provide report data for institutional, state, and federal reporting.
• Provide support with complex problem analysis and resolution.
• Assist with the design and development of reports to meet business needs.
• Assist with data extracts for campus processes.
• Quality assurance testing of application customizations/modifications and upgrades.
