Job summary

University of Central Florida is seeking a Financial Aid Coordinator II to lead and strengthen the administration of federal and private student loan programs. You will supervise staff, monitor complex loan processes, and collaborate with lenders, guarantors, and servicers to ensure accurate program administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6)
• Experience with federal or private student loan programs in higher education financial aid
• Knowledge of Title IV and other applicable financial aid regulations

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates staff responsible for the administration of federal and private student loan programs, ensuring accurate awarding, disbursement, reconciliation, and administration in compliance with requirements
• Monitors, analyzes, and resolves complex loan discrepancies, overawards, and related issues; develops and enhances processes and reports to support operations
• Collaborates with university partners, loan servicers, lenders, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate program administration
• Provides guidance to students and families regarding financial aid and loan programs, participates in outreach, training, testing, and staff development
