Job summary

The University of Central Florida's Office of Student Financial Assistance is seeking a Financial Aid Coordinator II to lead and strengthen the administration of federal and private student loan programs. You will supervise staff, monitor loan processes, and collaborate with lenders and servicers to ensure accurate, compliant operations.

Proficiency with PeopleSoft, strong communication, and the ability to explain aid requirements to students and families are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with federal and private loan programs and PeopleSoft or comparable student information systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates staff responsible for federal and private loan programs, ensuring accurate awarding, disbursement, reconciliation, and administration.
• Monitors and resolves loan discrepancies, overawards, and related issues; enhances processes and reporting.
• Collaborates with university partners, loan servicers, lenders, and external stakeholders for accurate program administration.
• Guides students and families on financial aid and loan requirements; participates in outreach, training, and system testing.
