University of Central Florida is hiring a Financial Aid Coordinator I to support student loan programs and the administration of federal, state, and institutional aid. You will counseling students and families, verify records, process packaging, and ensure compliance with aid regulations.

The role emphasizes becoming a SME in assigned unit, with opportunities to grow through training, outreach, and collaboration across departments. This is an on-site position in Orlando, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination.
• Understanding of federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations and policies.
• Experience in advising students on financial aid processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students and families on financial aid options, eligibility, and documentation with timely responses via email, in person, or virtual.
• Monitor SAP status and advise on maintaining aid eligibility and impact of enrollment changes on aid.
• Assist in awarding/packaging aid, verify records, and process scholarships and loans.
