Job summary

Fortis College in Montgomery, AL is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Financial Aid Advisor to join our Financial Aid Department. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Director of Financial Aid.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.
• Must not have NSLDS restrictions.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred; we will train the right candidate.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-level customer service to prospective students and current students regarding the financial aid process.
• Assists with gathering information to ensure a smooth student financial aid and processing system; presents initial financial aid package.
• Performs routine clerical, office, and data entry tasks in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintains excellent customer service standards in line with the organization’s mission.
