Job summary

Fortis College in Montgomery, AL is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Financial Aid Advisor to join our Financial Aid Department. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Director of Financial Aid.

Evening and Saturday hours required. The Advisor will provide high-level customer service to prospective students and current students, gather information for the aid process, present initial aid packages, and perform clerical and data-entry tasks in line with

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.
• Must not have NSLDS restrictions.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred; we will train the right candidate.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

The Financial Aid Advisor always provides high-level customer service to prospective students and students regarding the financial aid process. Assists with gathering information on potential students to ensure a trouble-free student financial aid and processing system; presents initial financial aid package, and performs routine clerical, office and data entry tasks. Adheres to established company and department policies and procedures and maintains excellent customer service standards in accordance with the mission and purpose of the organization.

Requirements
