Hours: A 40-hour a week schedule will be determined by business needs, Monday through Friday between 8AM and 5PM CST, with one late night scheduled until 7PM.

Job Details

This is a customer service position supporting a diverse student population. You will primarily assist students receiving funding through Herzing University community partnerships by providing personalized guidance on financial aid options. This role is suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, student-focused environment and excel at clear, proactive communication. Financial Aid Advisors receive onboarding support through our On-the-Job Training Program and have opportunities for growth via our Career Pathways.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Student Information Systems (CampusNexus & Regent preferred).
• Knowledge of Title IV administration (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree (preferred).

Compensation and Benefits

Salary is determined based on qualifications, experience, and circumstances. The hourly pay range is $19.56 to $28.85. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition waiver and reimbursement, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan with company match.

Physical Requirements

• Remain in a stationary position most of the time.
• Occasionally move around the work location.
• Operate office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines, audio/visuals.
• Use voice and hearing to communicate with students and staff.
• Identify, observe, and assess visually or otherwise.
• Occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
