Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Financial Aid Administrator to guide current, prospective and alumni students through the financial aid process. You will report to the Director of Financial Aid and handle administering, determining eligibility and processing student aid to maintain cash flow.

Duties include processing verification and disbursements, awarding state and federal aid, counseling students and parents, calculating Return of Title IV, auditing, and generating reports while staying current

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2+ years of Financial Aid experience preferred
• Campus Vue experience preferred
• Computer knowledge including Word, Excel, and Outlook recommended
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Attention to detail with the capability to multitask

Responsibilities

• Processing verification and disbursements
• Awarding state and federal aid to eligible students
• Counseling students and parents
• Providing estimates and packaging information
• Calculating Return of Title IV
• Managing defaults and financial literacy programs
• Auditing
• Running reports to ensure accuracy
• Interacting with other departments to assist students
• Keeping up to date with federal regulations
• Assisting with private loans
• Other duties as assigned
