Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Financial Aid Administrator in Provo, Utah, to guide current, prospective and alumni students through the financial aid process. The FAA reports to the Director of Financial Aid and handles eligibility, processing and maintaining positive cash flow.

Responsibilities include verification, awarding aid, counseling, packaging, Return of Title IV, audits, reporting, inter-department collaboration, staying current with federal regulations, and assisting with private loans

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of Financial Aid experience preferred.
• Campus VUE experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge is recommended, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Attention to detail with the capability to multi-task

Responsibilities

• Processing Verification and Disbursements.
• Awards state and federal aid to eligible students according to regulations and policy.
• Counsels students and parents.
• Provides estimates and packaging information.
• Calculates Return of Title IV.
• Default Management and Financial Literacy programs.
• Auditing.
• Running reports to ensure work integrity.
• Interacting with other departments to assist students.
• Maintaining up to date information on new federal regulations.
• Assisting with Private Loans.
• Packaging VA benefits.
• Other duties as assigned
