Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Financial Aid Administrator to guide current, prospective and alumni students through the financial aid process. You will report to the Director of Financial Aid and handle administering, determining eligibility, and processing aid to maintain positive cash flow.

Responsibilities include verification and disbursements, packaging federal/state aid, counseling students and parents, auditing, and staying current with federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of Financial Aid experience preferred.
• Campus Vue experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with the capability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Processing Verification and Disbursements
• Auditing
• Running reports to ensure work integrity
• Interacting with other departments to assist students
• Maintaining up to date information on new federal regulations
• Assisting with Private Loans
• Packaging VA benefits
• Other duties as assigned
