Unitek College Of Nursing is seeking a Financial Aid Administrator to join our Fremont campus team. You will guide students, alumni, and prospects through the financial aid process and report to the Director of Financial Aid.

Responsibilities include awarding aid, counseling, packaging, audits, and collaboration with other departments. The role requires on-site work 5 days a week and offers pay ranging from $23 to $32 per hour depending on Title IV experience, with benefits and potential for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of financial aid experience.
• CampusVue experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge is recommended, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with the capability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Process Verification and Disbursements.
• Award state and federal aid to eligible students according to regulations and policy.
• Counsel students and parents.
• Provide estimates and packaging information.
• Manage Default and Financial Literacy programs.
• Audit processes.
• Run reports to ensure work integrity.
• Interact with other departments to assist students.
• Maintain up-to-date information on new federal regulations.
• Assist with Private Loans.
• Package VA benefits.
• On-site attendance on campus up to 5 days per week.
