Job summary
EY is seeking a Manager, Finance Transformation in the United States to lead Power & Utilities finance transformation initiatives. You will design future-proof operating models and drive sustainable value through transformations, working with senior leadership and leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities include defining deliverables, managing timelines, and engaging clients with insights; travel is 60–80% as required to meet client needs and opportunities for new services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year); consulting and P&U experience preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant consulting experience in the power & utilities sector.
- Experience with P&U finance functions and applications such as SAP, Oracle, and PowerPlan.
- Strong business case development and digital strategy capabilities.
- Knowledge of finance compliance, regulation, and risk assessment.
Responsibilities
- Lead PowerPlan implementation and ERP/EAM integration.
- Design finance operating model and optimize processes.
- Advise on shared services design and outsourcing.
- Oversee FP&A, financial close, consolidation and reporting.
- Drive cost management, profitability analysis, and CIS to GL workflows.
- Engage with clients and lead project sessions; travel 60–80% as needed.
