Job summary

ŌURA is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance Transformation to lead the governance of the Finance Transformation portfolio, aligning accounting, IT systems, and external advisors. You will drive process improvements, ensure SOX readiness, and partner with cross-functional teams to accelerate close and improve reporting reliability.

This remote US-based role requires senior-level experience in finance operations, project management, and ERP systems, with a focus on delivering measurable improvements

Qualifications

• 9+ years of progressive experience in finance transformation, accounting operations, internal audit, finance systems, or process improvement.
• Strong project/program management skills with integrated planning and executive reporting.
• Solid accounting fluency (close, reconciliations, journal entries, controls).
• Experience partnering with IT/Business Systems on intake, triage, prioritization, and release management.
• Experience with SOX, internal controls, or financial reporting risk remediation in public-company settings.

Responsibilities

• Own the project-management discipline for the Finance Transformation portfolio with integrated plans and RAID tracking.
• Build dashboards and tracking tools for leadership visibility and governance.
• Consolidate transformation work into a prioritized portfolio with clear ownership and outcomes.
• Prepare concise updates for leadership highlighting trade-offs, blockers, and decisions needed.
• Convert control gaps and audit observations into remediation plans with owner assignments and due dates.
• Drive remediation for SOX readiness and ensure close acceleration across entities.
