Job summary

The Senior Accounting Manager, Corporate Accounting at Oura is a pivotal leader responsible for driving US close operations, OPEX reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit readiness. This role partners with Finance Transformation to implement continuous improvements across corporate accounting processes to scale for growth.

You will oversee leases, debt, equity entries, SOX controls, and cross-functional collaboration with AP, Payroll, FP&A, and asset accounting.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience with at least 3+ years in people management.
• Strong grasp of US GAAP, OPEX reporting, lease accounting (ASC 842), corporate balance sheet management, and COSO/SOX controls.
• Experience in high-growth technology, consumer products, hardware, or inventory-heavy environments.
• Experience with close-management tools and ERP systems, including FloQast and NetSuite/Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Own the US corporate GL close, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and policy adherence.
• Manage close calendar, dependencies, and daily sequencing across GL workstreams (AP, AR, Payroll).
• Oversee accruals, leases, debt, and equity journal entries; review non-routine items for SOX readiness.
• Lead SOX control design, testing, and remediation with internal/external auditors.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset rollforwards; drive variance analyses.
• Collaborate with FP&A and AP/Payroll to translate trends into executive close narratives.
