Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our accounting and finance talent solutions in Greensboro, NC. You will build relationships with CFOs and senior decision-makers, prospect for new business, and collaborate with recruiters to deliver staffing, direct-hire, and consulting solutions.

This role offers a true base salary with uncapped commission, a supportive team, and opportunities to cross-sell across practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful finance and accounting staffing, consulting, or solutions-sales experience.
• Established relationships within the local business community.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with financial leaders, including CFOs and other senior decision-makers.
• Generate new business through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, social media, market intelligence, and in-person meetings.
• Sell accounting and finance staffing, direct-hire, project, and consulting solutions within your local market.
• Identify client needs, secure new job orders, and manage opportunities from intake through successful fulfillment.
• Partner closely with recruiters to deliver high-quality finance and accounting professionals.
• Develop and maintain a focused target-account strategy and consistent sales pipeline.
• Expand existing relationships by introducing additional Vaco and Highspring capabilities where appropriate.
• Collaborate across offices, practices, and markets to pursue opportunities and serve clients.
• Maintain accurate client, pipeline, and activity information in our ATS and CRM system.
• Achieve individual activity, revenue, and gross-margin objectives.
