Vaco by Highspring in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a Business Development Associate Director to lead accounting and finance staffing initiatives. You will build relationships with CFOs and senior leaders, and collaborate with recruiters to deliver staffing solutions.

This role offers a base salary plus uncapped commission, with opportunities to cross-sell, comprehensive benefits, and a clear path for advancement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of successful finance and accounting staffing, consulting, or solutions-sales experience.
• A demonstrated track record of developing new business and achieving sales or gross-margin goals is highly preferred.
• Established relationships within the local business community.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with financial leaders, including CFOs and other senior decision-makers.
• Generate new business through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, social media, market intelligence, and in-person meetings.
• Sell accounting and finance staffing, direct-hire, project, and consulting solutions within your local market.
• Identify client needs, secure new job orders, and manage opportunities from intake through successful fulfillment.
• Partner closely with experienced recruiters to deliver high-quality finance and accounting professionals.
• Develop and maintain a focused target-account strategy and consistent sales pipeline.
• Expand existing relationships by introducing additional Vaco and Highspring capabilities where appropriate.
• Collaborate across offices, practices, and markets to pursue opportunities and serve clients.
• Maintain accurate client, pipeline, and activity information in our ATS and CRM system.
• Achieve individual activity, revenue, and gross-margin objectives.
