Job summary

Notion is hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead finance systems initiatives, including ERP, billing, and revenue recognition. You will bridge Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and Data to deliver auditable, scalable processes and controls across the finance stack.

You’ll work between Finance and Engineering, shaping roadmaps and coordinating ITGC programs while driving AI-enabled workflows. Roles are based in San Francisco or New York City with Anchor Days in the office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical program management, business systems, finance transformation, or a related field, with substantial time on finance or revenue systems.
• Hands-on ITGC program experience across access, change management, and IT operations for in-scope financial systems, plus practical SOX knowledge.
• Experience delivering technical programs end to end, with owners and dates, and clear communication to executives.

Responsibilities

• Act as Finance's technical counterpart on new product, pricing, and packaging launches, translating commercial models into requirements across order capture, rating and billing, tax, revenue recognition, and reporting.
• Broker the trade-off when a launch date and systems reality don’t line up, and plan automation with owners and deadlines.
• Independently own delivery and multi-quarter roadmaps for finance systems programs across ERP, billing, CPQ, and reporting.
• Run the operating rhythm: intake, prioritization, decision logs, risk escalation, and metrics.
• Map current-state processes and data lineage end to end, partnering with Data Engineering on data contracts.
• Drive ITGC workstreams across financial systems with a named owner for each control.
• Design controls into new systems and launches, coordinating with Controllership, Internal Audit, and Engineering.
• Build AI-assisted workflows with defined tasks, quality gates, and documentation for audits.
