Job summary

UFG Insurance is seeking a Manager, Financial Systems & Data to lead finance systems and data operations across accounting, reporting, treasury, and reinsurance. You will drive day-to-day execution, prioritize workstreams, and partner with Corporate Finance, IT, and Data Services to ensure reliable controls and timely close.

The role oversees Finance data and reporting enablement, manages a team of analysts, and advances modernization initiatives while maintaining SOX compliance and strong

Qualifications

• 8+ years in financial systems, data operations, accounting operations, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of people leadership, project leadership, or operational leadership experience preferred.
• Insurance or financial services experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting financial close, regulatory reporting, internal controls, and audit requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration of finance apps including General Ledger, reporting, planning, treasury, reinsurance, and related Finance platforms.
• Ensure configurations, workflows, security access, and controls support regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate issue resolution, production support activities, and escalation management with IT and vendors.
• Maintain runbooks, configuration docs, and process inventories.
• Oversee daily, monthly, and quarterly data processes supporting close and reporting.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to ensure data availability and reliability for decision-making.
• Coordinate system upgrades, releases, enhancements, and testing with governance.
• Lead intake, prioritization, and execution of system, data, and reporting requests.
