Job summary

Acton ADU, a design-build company in Campbell, CA, seeks a finance leader to deliver fast, accurate financial reporting and to build the financial infrastructure needed for growth. You will partner with leadership, manage accounting staff, and collaborate with lenders and outside accountants.

Your work will emphasize durable workflows, software integrations, and rigorous controls to support rapid expansion while maintaining quality and no surprises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting or finance leadership with team management.
• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Experience designing workflows and integrating systems to cut costs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a financial system with rapid reporting and low admin cost.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and financial statements for leadership.
• Monitor performance, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and advise.
• Manage timesheets, payroll, bookkeeping, 401(k), and budget.
• Establish financing partnerships and ensure regulatory compliance.
