Job summary

The Salvation Army Intermountain Div in Denver, CO is seeking an Assistant to the Divisional Finance Director to provide administrative and basic accounting support within the Finance Department at DHQ.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a team environment. Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft 365 is required, along with confidentiality and strong communication skills to support financial operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft 365 applications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and timely responses to field personnel regarding Finance Department matters.
• Coordinate agendas, meeting minutes, and follow-up activities for the Command Finance Council (CFC).
• Administer and maintain the CFC database, TSAMM.
• Maintain divisional vehicle files and mileage logs with related spreadsheets.
• Prepare semiannual and annual vehicle usage summary reports for the Intermountain Division.
• Distribute monthly financial reports to Corps offices and DHQ departments.
• Record daily income in the appropriate spreadsheet.
• Handle supply orders and vendor relationships for DHQ.
