Job summary

The Salvation Army’s NCI Division seeks an Assistant Divisional Finance Director to lead financial health by developing and analyzing budgets, ensuring GAAP compliance, and enforcing accounting policies across corps and service centers.

You will supervise finance staff, provide training to Corps Officers and Business Leaders, and coordinate with internal audits and grant compliance to ensure timely, accurate reporting and adherence to the Army’s standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• 10 years’ management experience in accounting/finance.
• Experience in a nonprofit setting preferred.
• Full-cycle accounting, GL, budgeting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall financial management and oversight to all corps and 360 service centers within the NCI Division.
• Train and consult with Corps Officers and Business Leaders on budgeting and financial processes.
• Lead Finance department staff to ensure timely reporting and adherence to policies.
• Coordinate with internal audit and external audits for compliance.
