Job summary

Frazier & Deeter is seeking a Financial Risk Advisory & Consulting Manager to lead engagement teams across finance advisory, internal control advisory, and internal audit services. You will work with mid-sized publicly traded and private companies, shaping risk assessments and implementing robust controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ financial audit and/or advisory experience.
• Certification required – CPA or CIA or other preferred certification.
• Experience leading finance process advisory, internal controls advisory and/or internal audit engagements.
• Versatile industry experience a plus (healthcare, manufacturing & distribution, technology, payments, banking).
• Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and technical accounting standards preferred.
• Ability to interact with external auditors and senior management to co-develop expectations, design, scope, and communicate priorities.
• Subject matter expertise related to Sarbanes-Oxley / PCAOB and SEC standards, risk assessment, testing plans, and recommendations.
• Experience with IIA Standards, COSO Framework, and ERM frameworks.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills; ability to present to Board/C-suite.
• Teaching and team development; professional, collaborative demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams delivering finance advisory, internal controls advisory, and/or internal audit services.
• Serve mid-sized publicly held and private companies, helping scope, design, and execute engagements.
• Interact with external auditors and senior management to set expectations and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Develop risk and control matrices, test plans, and ensure quality throughout engagements.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative, client-focused environment.
