Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to oversee financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative. You will lead a small team, ensure strict process adherence, and interact with DOJ staff to deliver timely, high-quality results.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, expert knowledge of SAS-based finance systems, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems.
• Must have proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
• Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-criticial support activities simultaneously.
• Requires expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS; outstanding writing skills; excellent oral communication skills; and excellent management skills.
• Requires knowledge of the Government's data processing environment in which the work is to be performed, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet and server-based databases and other applications.
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
• Must have an undergraduate degree
• Law Degree desirable

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing workflows in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services.
• Perform and oversee financial and procurements services.
• Maintain frequent contact with Government Case Managers and other DOJ agency staff.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed.
• Oversee a small team of financial analysts.
• Perform active quality assurance to ensure high quality work delivered on time.
• Train staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases.
