Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an experienced Finance Project Manager to oversee financial and procurement services for a large federal initiative. You will lead a small team, ensure processes are followed, and provide QA to deliver timely, high-quality results.

The role requires strong supervisory and communication skills, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Undergraduate degree is required; law degree is desirable.

Qualifications

• At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical support activities simultaneously.
• Requires expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS; strong writing and oral communication skills; and excellent management skills.
• Knowledge of the Government's data processing environment, including databases and networks.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Undergraduate degree required; Juris Doctor degree desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing workflows in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services.
• Perform and oversee financial and procurement services.
• Maintain frequent contact with Government Case Managers and DOJ staff.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed.
• Oversee a small team of financial analysts.
• Active quality assurance to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Train staff on data entry in proprietary databases.
