Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) seeks an experienced Finance Project Manager to oversee financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative. The role sits in Project Management and involves leading a small team, QA, and cross‑agency coordination.

Required are four years of supervisory experience, US citizenship, and an undergraduate degree. Law degree is desirable. CGS emphasizes growth and a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems.
• Must have proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
• Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical support activities simultaneously.
• Requires expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS; outstanding writing skills; excellent oral communication skills; and excellent management skills.
• Requires knowledge of the Government's data processing environment including office automation, databases, internet and server-based applications.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Must have an undergraduate degree.
• Law Degree desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing workflows in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services.
• Perform and oversee financial and procurement services.
• Maintain frequent contact with Government Case Managers and DOJ staff.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed.
• Oversee a small team of financial analysts.
• Perform active quality assurance to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Train staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases.
