Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to provide oversight of financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative. The role requires strong supervisory skills and the ability to coordinate with government staff to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a background in government contracting, SAS finance systems, and experience managing cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to interact with clients and attorneys.
• Experience managing multiple complex, time-critical activities.
• Expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS and data processing environments.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Undergraduate degree required; law degree desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing workflows in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services.
• Perform and oversee financial and procurement services.
• Maintain ongoing contact with Government Case Managers and DOJ staff.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed.
• Oversee a small team of financial analysts.
• Conduct active quality assurance to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Train staff on data entry and updating in proprietary databases.
