Job summary

The County of Hawai‘i’s Department of Finance - Property Management Division in Hilo seeks a Program Manager to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate programs including PONC Maintenance. You will manage contracts, perform fiscal analysis, and review stewardship grants, with salary determined by qualifications.

Responsibilities include coordinating with county departments, vendors, and community organizations, drafting policies, and guiding agency heads and staff to ensure effective program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of professional experience in program analysis related to department programs.
• Supervisory aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in program planning, development, and implementation.
• Serves as program resource and provides guidance to manager, supervisors, other employees, and the public.
• Conducts studies and analyses of major, unprecedented, or controversial issues regarding the agency services and operations.
• Formulates and recommends new or revised policies, operational procedures, program goals and/or objectives.
• Collaborates with representatives from other departments, governmental agencies, vendors, and private or community organizations to implement programs and activities.
