Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of professional accounting experience.
• Experience with financial reporting, compliance, and contract or grant administration.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience preparing and analyzing financial reports.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR, banking, journal entries, reconciliations).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership and funders.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation planning.
• Develop and maintain cost allocation methodologies and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules and records.
• Monitor grant and contract compliance and timely reporting.
• Prepare payroll-related reports and assist with financial analysis.
