Job summary

This role involves preparing grant applications, maintaining compliance, and assisting with operating budget planning. You will deliver timely data to the County Council and collaborate with central Finance staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
• Two years of professional accounting or auditing experience.
• Experience with grant tracking and budget analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, develop, manage, and maintain the grant-source database.
• Use grant management software to track grants and produce reports.
• Prepare grant applications and support documentation; administer grant agreements.
• Process payment requests for grants and provide data and reports.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist in budget planning and fiscal analysis; maintain budgets and reports.
• Transmit reports to Hawai'i County Council; support operating budget processes.
• Maintain records and inventory for the department's divisions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
