Job summary

Huzzle is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Operations expert to own the day-to-day financial health of a scaling agency. You will ensure receipts are captured, invoices paid, and profitability clearly tracked, acting as a QuickBooks power user within a fully remote, part-time role (with potential for full-time).

You will manage accounts receivable, payroll for Canadian staff, multi-currency transactions, and monthly close to support leadership decisions and client profitability analyses.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency with QuickBooks Online and robust accounting experience.
• Proven experience in an agency or service-based business model.
• Comfort with multi-currency transactions and international dealings.
• Strong communication skills with a track record in collections/payments follow-ups.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records in QuickBooks Online with receipts, classifications, and reconciliations.
• Oversee Canadian payroll and coordinate contractor payments.
• Manage multi-currency accounts and currency conversions.
• Generate client invoices and drive Accounts Receivable activities.
• Perform monthly ad spend reconciliations and calculate management fee billing.
• Lead month-end close and produce monthly P&L statements.

• Generate client invoices and lead the Accounts Receivable process with professional, persistent follow-ups on overdue payments.
• Perform monthly ad spend reconciliations and calculate management fee billing.
• Lead the month-end close process and produce comprehensive monthly P&L statements.
• Generate weekly AR reports and track client‑specific profitability to support leadership decisions.
