Job summary

Heidelberg USA is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to lead AR and AP functions and teams, ensuring timely vendor payments and customer collections while maintaining strong controls. The role partners with Product Management, Sales and Service to reduce risk and drive performance.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable leadership, with SAP/ERP proficiency and a track record in high-volume environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience leading Accounts Payable/Receivable teams.
• Experience in high-volume environment with revenues of $400MM+.
• SAP ERP experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR and AP teams, including offshore staff, and report to department heads.
• Maintain KPI levels for timely payments, collections, and risk management.
• Oversee credit terms, bankruptcy handling, and order releases.
• Guide process standards aligned with global strategy.
• Provide reporting to department heads and coordinate with Product Management, Sales, Service.
• Oversee data integrity in the ERP system and ensure internal controls.
• Support audit readiness and expense policy adherence.
• Handle hiring and succession within the team.
• Publish department policies across the intranet.
