Job summary

Boosted Technology is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to own day-to-day financial operations, support client contracting, invoicing, expense management, AR and forecasting in a growth environment.

You will work closely with Operations, RevOps and Delivery, external accounting partners, ensuring financial processes run smoothly while spotting issues early and informing decisions. This hands-on role emphasizes detail, ownership, and using technology and AI to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on finance or accounting roles.
• Experience supporting client-facing financial processes, including contracts, invoicing, accounts receivable and payment follow-ups.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, P&L reporting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ability to work with financial data, spreadsheets and accounting systems.
• Experience analyzing costs, margins and profitability, with ability to identify trends and risks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including P&L analysis, actuals vs forecasts and explanations of variances.
• Manage client invoicing, ensuring invoices are accurate, issued on time and aligned with contracts, statements of work and purchase orders.
• Own accounts receivable, including tracking overdue invoices and following up on payments.
• Collaborate with Sales to manage client billing arrangements and contract changes.
• Own financial forecasting in partnership with leadership across revenue, costs, margins and cash flow.
• Monitor software and AI-related spending and assess impact on productivity and sustainability.
• Manage USD and CAD balances, monitor FX exposure and opportunities to reduce conversion costs.
• Coordinate SR&ED process with engineers and external advisors.
• Act as primary contact for external accounting partner and ensure items are followed through.
