Job description

About the Role:

We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Operations Executive to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for payroll processing, banking operations, employee reimbursements, accounting and audit support, and smooth financial workflows.
As our company scales, this role will be critical in improving and automating finance processes, working closely with the Accounting, Tax, and HR teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll coordination, banking operations, and financial reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:

Payroll & Compliance
  1. Coordinate payroll processing across multiple geographies with the payroll provider after receiving inputs from HR.
  2. Handle payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end payroll accounting.
  3. Ensure payroll tax compliance, including statutory deductions and tax filings, in coordination with external providers.
  4. Work with HR and payroll vendors to resolve discrepancies and improve payroll accuracy.
  5. Handle payroll queries from employees.
Banking & Treasury Operations
  1. Day-to-day banking operations, including fund transfers, payment approvals, and vendor payouts.
  2. Perform bank reconciliations and record transactions correctly in QuickBooks and Tally.
  3. Assist in cash flow monitoring and payment tracking to support financial planning.
Expense Reimbursements & Compliance
  1. Manage employee reimbursements through Ramp, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  2. Monitor, review, and validate reimbursement claims, enforcing travel & expense (T&E) policies.
Accounting Support & Month-End Close
  1. Ensure accurate expense classification, payroll postings, and banking entries in QBO/Tally.
  2. Support month-end close activities, assisting with reconciliations and financial reporting.
  3. Work with the accounting team to ensure audit compliance for payroll, reimbursements, and banking transactions.
About You
  1. 5+ years of experience in finance operations, payroll, and accounting in a mid-size or growth-stage company.
  2. Strong understanding of payroll processes, banking operations, and financial reconciliations.
  3. Familiarity with accounting software and expense management tools.
  4. Ability to automate processes and drive payroll, banking, and reimbursement efficiency.
  5. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to finance operations.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
