Job summary

Spitzer Autoworld Homestead is seeking a proactive Finance Manager to coordinate finance and insurance programs for customers and work with lenders to provide financial services at the dealership.

The ideal candidate will have desk experience, strong relationship-building skills, and a solid understanding of financing product offerings. The role includes benefits and advancement opportunities within a large private auto group.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of dealership experience.
Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
Strong computer skills.
Must present a proper menu presentation.
Provide desk support when needed and work with management.
Deal with local and national bankers and manufacturer representatives.
Understand tag and title laws; DMV.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.
Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug screen.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Sells financing and insurance to customers.
Attainment of financing services' goals and objectives.
Reviews customer credit applications.
Makes extended service contracts and other owner protection programs available to customers.
Assesses profitability to dealership of financing arrangements.
Utilizes the menu selling process.
Maintains Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards.
Ensures compliance with all laws and regulatory obligations relative to financial services and products.
Oversees completion and submission of all financing documents.
Acts as liaison between the customer and the lending institution.
Attends weekly manager meetings.
Works with service advisors to address warranty and service contract inquiries.
Trains the sales team on finance and lease programs and benefits of the dealership's financing.
Other related duties as assigned.

Description

Spitzer CDJR in Homestead is looking for passionate team members who want to deliver a high level of service to our customers, while growing their career at a top regional employer. The Finance Manager is responsible for coordinating the sale of finance and insurance programs to customers. The Finance and Insurance Manager works with lenders and financial institutions to provide financial services to dealership customers. Previous desk experience a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sells financing and insurance to customers
Responsible for the attainment and gross production of financial services' goals and objectives
Reviews customer credit applications
Makes extended service contracts and other owner protection programs available to customers
Assess profitability to dealership of financing arrangements
Utilizes the menu selling process
Maintains Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards
Ensures compliance with all laws and regulatory obligations relative to financial services and products. Abides by all Red Flag standards and laws
Complies with all Safeguard and Transaction compliance rules and regulations
Ensures that all organizational activities and operations are carried out in compliance with organizational guidelines and local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations
Oversees completion and submission of all financing documents
Acts as liaison between the customer and the lending institution
Ensures adherence to F&I reporting requirements of company
Attends weekly manager meetings
Works directly with employees and customers to develop relationships and to assist bridge disconnects in the sales process
Builds rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network present finance and product options to customers
Meets monthly objectives
Work with service advisors to address customer inquiries with regard to warranty and service contracts
Training and providing the sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership's financing and extended service programs
Other related duties as assigned
