Job Overview – Finance Manager- 34490
The Finance Manager will oversee a broad range of accounting, billing, financial reporting, compliance, and administrative finance responsibilities. This is not a highly siloed finance environment, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership, adapting to changing priorities, and stepping in wherever needed.
- Manage weekly billing to Medicaid and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)
- Oversee reimbursement invoicing and billing activities
- Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements
- Prepare monthly financial reports for executive leadership and the Board
- Manage representative payee responsibilities and Social Security liabilities
- Maintain client census information used for billing and reimbursement
- Support quarterly medical and prescription billing
- Handle 1099s, tax reporting, and other compliance requirements
- Manage annual property tax exemptions and charitable solicitation licensing
- Assist with cost reporting, workers' compensation audits, and sales audits
- Support financial reporting and other periodic reporting requirements
- Partner with external providers on tax and other financial matters
- Serve as a resource/back-up to other accounting functions as needed

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Strong general accounting and financial management background
- Experience with billing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance
- Comfortable working in a small, hands-on organization
- Able to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, IDD, Medicaid, or MCO billing experience is a plus, but not required
