Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker Leadership Program (SLP) – Finance is a two-year hybrid program in New Britain, CT with an on-site presence Tuesday–Thursday and rotations across core finance functions.

You will gain exposure to FP&A, Commercial Finance, and Operations/Supply Chain Finance, while rotating through manufacturing and distribution sites in the U.S. Strong communication and Excel/Power BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting or related Business Field.
• Prior internship in Corporate Finance, Accounting or Data Analytics.
• Willingness to rotate every 6 months to a new area within Finance and possibly new location (US manufacturing or distribution site).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels including senior management.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI and other MS Office applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
• 0-3 years of professional work experience, internship experience included.

Responsibilities

• Four 6-month rotations across core finance functions.
• Exposure to FP&A, Commercial Finance, and Operations/Supply Chain Finance.
• One on-site experience in a manufacturing plant or distribution center.
• Structured learning and development curriculum.
• Mentorship and networking opportunities.
• Participate in a blend of day-to-day tasks and project work in rotations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Develop insights and recommendations using financial data, business trends and KPIs.
• Contribute to projects focused on business priorities and process improvements.
• Prepare presentations and communicate findings to finance leadership.
