Job summary

Reading International, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a Finance Manager to expand internal controls, financial planning, and reporting while supporting strategic growth.

You will lead the Finance Team, oversee forecasting, budgeting, and executive-level reporting, and identify AI-enabled opportunities for efficiency and decision-making. The role reports to the CFO and involves collaboration with senior management to deliver accurate financial insights and annual stockholders’ materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years in financial or accounting managerial roles.
• Experience leveraging AI to improve reporting, forecasting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Finance Team members, delegate tasks, and foster a positive environment.
• Oversee the financial forecast process and review forecast models.
• Lead reporting of consolidated financial statements and analyses.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes.
• Prepare board materials and internal/external publication documents.
• Identify risks and opportunities; advise on strategies to reach financial goals.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, for governance and efficiency.
• Mentor the Finance Team and collaborate with Operations, Accounting, Legal, IT.
