Job summary

Crevier Motors, Inc. is seeking a Financial Services Consultant to drive revenue by selling finance and insurance programs to new and used vehicle customers. You will work closely with staff to build relationships, explain products, and ensure accurate, compliant processing of deals.

The role emphasizes ethical conduct, lender relations, and ongoing training to maintain high standards and customer satisfaction in a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell products and services in a professional and ethical manner
• Ability to understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle and finance departments
• Ability to facilitate and/or conduct technical training to other employees
• Computer proficient
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively communicate via face-to-face, phone, or by other means of communication
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to process data and organize it for management analysis
• Ability to work with numbers including discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions
• Ability to follow work rules and instructions
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion
• Ability to interact well with others and be a positive influence on morale

Responsibilities

• Sells finance and insurance products to customers
• Builds rapport with customers to establish referrals
• Maintains reputation with lenders
• Produces and submits paperwork for title work and secures funding
• Explains aftermarket products and extended warranties to customers
• Processes finance and lease deals accurately and in compliance with laws
• Maintains required contracts and paperwork for car deals
• Attends training and company meetings as required
