Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• 2–3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Nonprofit accounting experience with fund accounting, grants, and restricted funds is required.
• Experience coordinating audits with external auditors.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial management.
• Healthcare billing, Medicaid, or private insurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close, GL accuracy, and financial reporting.
• Oversee nonprofit fund accounting, grants, and restricted funds.
• Ensure grant compliance and funding reports.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors.
• Monitor healthcare revenue streams (Medicaid/private insurance).
• Supervise and develop accounting staff.
• Maintain internal controls and GAAP compliance.
• Improve accounting processes and reporting systems.
• Partner with CFO to provide financial insights for decision-making.
