Job summary

IDEX Corporation is seeking a Finance Data & Transformation Analyst to advance IH&S’s finance data transformation efforts. The role focuses on building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, standardizing financial reporting, and translating complex data into clear insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics roles in a manufacturing financial environment.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting concepts including financial reporting, cost accounting, FP&A, and KPI development.
• Understanding of ERP software; JD Edwards preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build data models and create processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities; present findings to finance leadership.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Commercial, IT, and Operations teams to ensure data consistency and alignment between dashboards/reports.
• Maintain and prioritize reporting backlogs leveraging Agile framework.
• Support executive-level reporting by creating clear, concise dashboards and summaries.
• Contribute to finance and business transformation initiatives including automation of reporting processes.
• Develop financial KPI calculation logic and create Power BI visuals for leadership.
• Support standardized reporting frameworks and data governance initiatives.
