Job summary

Experior Financial Group Inc. is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports. You will work with stakeholders across the organization to translate raw data into actionable insights, writing SQL queries and building data models to support decision-makers.

The role emphasizes hands-on data work, ETL pipelines, and maintaining data quality, with remote work options and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI (or Tableau/Looker) including DAX and data modeling.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries on relational databases.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and star schemas for reporting.
• Experience with data warehouses and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with financial services operations (IMO/Insurance Carrier) is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy; able to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Power Query (M language) and Power BI Service knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake) is a plus.
• Must reside and be authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI for stakeholders across the business.
• Write and optimize SQL queries against relational databases to extract, join, and aggregate data for reporting and analysis.
• Build and maintain data models (including DAX measures and calculated columns) that power accurate, performant dashboards.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into clear, well-structured data visualizations.
• Develop and maintain ETL/data pipelines to keep reporting data accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies between source systems and reports.
• Document data definitions, report logic, and dashboard usage so reporting stays consistent and maintainable over time.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and streamline the reporting process.
