Job summary

South Offices seeks a finance data specialist to translate SOW terms into Ordway-based subscription models and oversee daily Ordway management with oversight from the Assistant Controller.

You will ensure seamless integration between Ordway and QuickBooks Online, maintain a pristine general ledger, support the Head of Finance with ad-hoc data and audit prep, and keep financial data clean across systems. Proficiency in QBO, Google Sheets, and AI tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and spreadsheet tools with complex data handling.
• Experience automating manual processes to improve efficiency.
• Familiar with Ordway; knowledge of Ramp, Cube, Coupler, or SaasAnt is a plus.
• Understanding of international accounting nuances is a plus.
• Comfortable using AI tools like Claude to enhance productivity and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Translate SOW terms into Ordway subscription models and contribute to daily management.
• Ensure seamless sync between Ordway and QuickBooks Online to maintain clean GL.
• Support Head of Finance with ad-hoc data requests, reporting, and audits.
• Audit and maintain data hygiene across financial systems for reliable reporting.
• Use tools like Coupler and SaasAnt to manipulate and import data accurately.
• Identify opportunities to streamline tech stack (Ramp, Cube, Claude AI) and propose improvements.
