LifeSkills Connection Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage customer billing, collections, payment applications, and related services for a multi-entity organization.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with QuickBooks Online expertise. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in AR or a related finance/operations role, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related finance or operations role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer records, establish new accounts, and update contact information.
• Generate and send accurate, scheduled customer invoices for multiple entities.
• Track, monitor, and reconcile customer accounts in QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile weekly cash drawers, general ledger postings, and deposits.
• Apply incoming payments and resolve discrepancies, short-pays, and account issues.
• Partner with internal teams to support timely collections and issue resolution.
• Monitor AR email inboxes and Teams trackers.
• Maintain organized AR records for audits and month-end close.
• Prepare weekly and monthly AR aging reports for management.
• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable and assist with other duties as assigned.
