Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a BI Manager to lead a team of Finance BI Developers and Analysts responsible for designing, building, and governing reporting, analytics, and automation solutions that support Finance and business-wide decision making.

The role sets development standards, semantic model architecture, and governance practices, partnering with Finance leadership to translate priorities into a coordinated team roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or higher in a relevant field.
• Five or more years in data analytics, business intelligence, or app development.
• Two or more years leading or managing a technical team.
• Experience with Finance data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of Finance BI Developers and Analysts.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and Power Automate issues.
• Own and evolve Finance BI architecture, semantic model standards, and data governance across the team.
• Translate priorities into a prioritized team roadmap and resourcing plan.
• Review and approve Power BI reports, semantic models, and data transformations for quality and consistency.
