Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assistant Finance BI Leader to drive delivery of finance dashboards, automated reporting, and complex analytics for FP&A and Finance partners. You will co-own priorities, coordinate work intake, and ensure timely, high-quality output while coaching team members and promoting continuous improvement.

The role demands strong finance acumen with hands-on Power BI and SQL expertise, shaping scalable data solutions and reporting across the portfolio in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; focus on Finance, Accounting or Data/Analytics, preferred.
• 5+ years in corporate finance, FP&A, or finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Supports day-to-day team leadership and priority setting.
• Drives initiatives with minimal supervision and proactive communication.
• Manages requests for Power BI reports, data pulls, and automation.
• Collaborates with IT, Finance, and FP&A to improve analytics and outcomes.
• Defines metrics and reporting requirements with FP&A and Finance teams.
• Maintains BI development standards, documentation, and workflows.
• Manages stakeholder expectations and escalates risks as needed.
• Leads cross-functional finance improvement initiatives and new tool implementations.
• Other duties as required.
