Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assistant Finance BI Leader to support the delivery and ongoing support of finance dashboards, automated reporting, and complex financial models for FP&A and Finance partners. You will report to the Finance BI Leader and help manage priorities, coordinate work intake, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Strong Power BI and SQL skills are essential. The role requires a self-starter mindset, proactive communication, and collaboration with IT and Finance teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Data/Analytics.
• 5+ years in corporate finance, FP&A, or finance operations.
• 3+ years building production dashboards with Power BI.
• 2+ years SQL experience.
• Experience in professional services firms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day leadership, set priorities, manage intake and commitments.
• Independently drive initiatives and remove blockers.
• Manage requests for Power BI reports and data automation.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance leadership to improve analytics and outcomes.
• Define metrics, business rules, and reporting requirements with FP&A.
• Establish BI development standards, training, and documentation.
• Escalate risks and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Lead finance improvement projects and cross-functional tool implementations.
• Other duties as required.
