Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an entry-level Finance Analyst to support project accounting and financial processes. You will assist with cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and reporting as part of a project team.

Each project is treated as a small business, providing exposure to labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts, as well as month-end close and financial packages for management review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Internship experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes the importance of being a team player and adapts to project needs.
• Fosters relationships with the Operations team and learns the work.
• Understands payroll and HR process workflow and the systems used to hire, transfer, terminate, and pay employees.
• Comprehends how goods are purchased, invoices are received and paid, and maintains purchasing workflow controls.
• Demonstrates understanding of accounts payable process workflow and resolves issues.
• Understands intercompany and client billing processes and timely billing documentation.
