Job summary

The Kiewit Finance Analyst Intern is a paid, full-time temporary internship focused on supporting project accounting and financial reporting. You will work on cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance within the Power Market division.

Based in the United States, this role requires relocation flexibility and travel up to 50% as projects are spread across multiple locations. You’ll contribute to month-end close and financial reporting for complex projects ranging from $1

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Business Management.
Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship to begin or continue employment.
Ability to relocate anywhere in the country.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Support cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and human capital management.
Assist with month-end close and prepare financial reports for project management.
Develop familiarity with cost and revenue components such as labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts.
Ensure internal controls and purchasing workflows are followed.
Collaborate with the operations team to learn and contribute to project success.
Communicate effectively and maintain organized work processes.
